Cajun Catfish Shrimp and Grits with Honey Butter

Ingredients

2 cups grits

1 pound catfish fillets

1 pound shrimp, peeled and deveined

4 cups water

2 tablespoons butter

2 tablespoons honey

1 tablespoon Cajun seasoning

Salt to taste

Black pepper to taste

Instructions

In a large pot, bring the water to a boil.

Add the grits and a pinch of salt, stirring occasionally until thickened.

In a skillet, melt the butter over medium heat, then add the Cajun seasoning.

Add the catfish fillets and cook until golden brown on both sides.

Add the shrimp and cook until pink and opaque.

Stir in the honey right before serving.

Serve the catfish and shrimp over the grits.

Notes

Feel free to adjust the spice level by adding more or less Cajun seasoning.
